What is Barnyards?
Barnyards is a Staking Pool and Token Factory, offered first on Pulsechain. It enables anyone to easily create a time-limited, capped-rewards staking pool that fairly distributes reward tokens to those who stake a desired other token. Barnyards has a robust configuration while remaining simple to operate - the accompanying website to the contracts makes it easy for creators to top-up rewards, control and direct pool fees and more!
How it Works
Making a Barn (Staking Pool)
- Select ‘Create Barn’ on the homepage
- Enter the pool information
- Pay the creation fee and confirm the transaction
Making a Token
- Select token type on the Token Factory page
- Enter token details
- Pay the creation fee and confirm the transaction
Economics
The fees from Barn and Token creation on Barnyards will be allocated to buying and burning Function Island’s FARM token. As of September 2025, FARM reached a supply of less than 285 tokens - as more tokens are bought and burned, and as FARM will never have any more tokens minted (the FARM MasterChef being retired), the idea is that more Barns and tokens will drive the value and scarcity of FARM upwards.
