FARM Token

FARM is the token minted and issued to "farmers" - those who create and stake LP tokens, or stake single-assets to earn yield - as a means to draw stronger liquidity into Function Island. It is owned by the Function Island MasterChef contract, and can only be minted by that contract, by method of users or other contracts farming it.

The MasterChef contract is hard-coded to only mint 0.0001 FARM per block - assuming a 10.2-second block time on Pulsechain, this would produce roughly 0.85 FARM per 24 hours. This extremely low emission rate makes for easy provision of stronger liquidity, whilst incentivizing new users and farmers with high APRs and reward token prices.
